Neiman Marcus's Matching Gift Submission Process: Neiman Marcus matches employee donations to most nonprofits

Neiman Marcus offers a 1:1 match for donations ranging from $25 to $500. Donations over $500 and up to $2,000 are matched at a rate of 2:1 which effectively triples the amount of the original donation. For individuals on the board of an organization, donations from $25 - $2,000 are matched at a rate of 3:1.

Verizon offers two types of matching grants:

American Airlines 

American Airlines awards a free flight voucher to charitable organizations when an individual employee volunteers with an organization for at least 50 hours. 

Submission Process: Employees can find the most up-to-date form directly on the company intranet by searching for "Flights for 50" or "volunteer grant". Alternatively, employees may be able to submit their requests electronically at https://aagiving.yourcause.com. 

Bank of America 

Bank of America offers a volunteer grant program for employees and retirees who volunteer on a regular basis 

There are two tiers of grants: 

50 volunteer hours = $500 grants 

100 volunteer hours = $1,000 grants 

Submission Process: 

Associates should log their hours and request the volunteer grant electronically through Bank of America's Community Volunteers website which is located at https://www.cybergrants.com/boa/branch.html. Upon submission, the nonprofit will be notified of the volunteer grant.

Kimberly-Clark Foundation Community Partners 

The Kimberly-Clark Foundation Community Partners program honors volunteer efforts to improve communities with grants to those organizations. 

The KC Foundation will recognize the volunteer efforts of employees and their spouses or domestic partners by making $500 grants to the charitable organizations to which they volunteer at least 30 hours. 

Each employee can request one $500 grant per year. Each spouse / domestic partner can request an additional $500 grant per year. 

Volunteer Grant Submission Process: 

Employees / volunteers should log their hours and request the volunteer grant electronically at https://kimberlyclark.yourcause.com/. 

Deadline: 

Kimberly-Clark volunteers must log their hours and submit the grant requests by December 31st of the year in which the volunteering occurred. 

Microsoft 

Microsoft provides grants to nonprofits where its employees volunteer on a regular basis. 

Microsoft employees who volunteer can request a grant of $25 per every hour volunteered. 

Microsoft's Volunteer Grant Submission Process: 

Employees / volunteers can log their hours and submit volunteer grant requests electronically at https://microsoft.benevity.org/. 

Paypal 

Paypal provides grants to nonprofits where employees volunteer on a regular basis. 

For every 10 hours an employee volunteers Paypal will provide a grant of $100. Each employee can request up to $500 in volunteer grants per year. 

Paypal's Volunteer Grant Submission Process: 

Volunteers should log their hours and request the volunteer grant electronically at https://paypalgives.benevity.org/. 

Southwest's  

Through Southwest's "Tickets for Time" program, the company provides grants to nonprofits where employees volunteer on a regular basis. 

For every 40 hours volunteered at a nonprofit by an employee or group of employees, Southwest will donate a complimentary, roundtrip ticket to that organization. 

Submission Process: 

Employees should log their volunteer hours through the company's "Share The Spirit" program. 

PNM  

Through PNM Resources' Volunteer Grants Program, PNM provides grants to nonprofits where employees and retirees volunteer. 

Depending upon the level of involvement with an organization, employees and retirees can earn grants of as much as $500 per year for their nonprofit. Grant amounts are as follows: 

12 volunteer hours = $100 donation 

25 volunteer hours = $200 donation 

25 volunteer hours and serve on the board of directors = $500 donation 

PNM Resources' Volunteer Grant Submission Process: 

PNM employees and retirees should complete the volunteer grant form which can be downloaded from https://www.pnm.com/volunteer-grants. 

Please complete Part 1 of the form and provide it to the nonprofit organization. 

United Health Group's  

Through UnitedHealth Group's Dollars for Doers program, UHG provides grants to nonprofits where employees volunteer. 

Employees can earn $10 for every hour volunteered up to 50 hours ($500) per year to donate to the cause(s) of their choice.

UnitedHealth Group's Dollars for Doers Submission Process: 

Employees can download a copy of the most up-to-date form from the company intranet by searching for "volunteer grant" or "Dollars for Doers" or by going to https://unitedhealthgroup.benevity.org/.

Verizon's  

Through Verizon's Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP), the company provides grants to nonprofits where employees volunteer on a regular basis. 

After Verizon employees volunteer 50 hours with an organization in a year, Verizon provides a volunteer grant of $750 to that organization. 

Each Verizon employee can request up to two separate $750 grants each year as long as 50 hours have been volunteered with each organization. 

Note: While Verizon's matching gift program is open to retirees, the volunteer grant program is only available to current employees.

State Farm 

State Farm provides grants to nonprofits where employees and agents volunteer on a regular basis. 

Once an employee or agent volunteers for 40 hours in a calendar year, State Farm will donate $500 to the organization through State Farm's Good Neighbor Grant Program. View this page to learn more.

Monetary grants will be awarded as follows ($100 for every 10 hours accumulated): 

Volunteer 10 hours over 12 months – apply for a $100 grant to your charity of choice 

Volunteer 20 hours over 12 months – apply for a $200 grant to your charity of choice 

Volunteer 30 hours over 12 months – apply for a $300 grant to your charity of choice 

Grants for individuals who are active on boards will be increased by 25%. Accumulated hours can be logged all at once or logged as you go. 

Bread Financial's Volunteer Grant Submission Process:

WestRock 

Westrock offers a volunteer grant program for employees who volunteer on a regular basis. 

Eligible WestRock team members may receive up to $2,000 USD per calendar year in grants to qualifying organizations through the Matching Gifts and Grants for Volunteers programs, collectively.

Ally Financial 

ally Financial provides grants to nonprofit organizations where employees volunteer.

For every hour an SAP employee volunteers, the company will provide a $20 grant.
