North Texas Tree Recovery

Texas Trees Foundation and its partners are preparing to assist the City of Dallas and its residents recover after the October 2019 tornado that devastated parts of North Dallas.

TTF Foresters conducted an initial survey of the affected areas and determined that between 3,000-3,500 trees have been damaged to the point that they will need to be removed, and another 1,200-1,500 trees have some level of damage that will need additional pruning over the coming months and years to restore their canopy.
