The Verizon Green Team plants their first million trees
The Verizon Green Team had a couple of planting events the week of September 23rd in Irving and Southlake, Texas. The first volunteer event was at the Irving Tree Nursery where volunteers planted an assortment of trees with the support of Keep Irving Beautiful.
The second planting was at the Verizon Southlake campus, where the Verizon Green team planted a 20ft+ Monterrey oak with the help of SRH Landscapes. This tree commemorates the first 1 million trees planted worldwide of their 10 million trees by 2030 initiative.
