Thanks for the hard-work Monique and Annabel!
While summer is the slow season for the Foundation, the time with our interns felt like it went by in a flash! We truly appreciate our two summer interns, Monique G. and Annabel C., for all the work they put in with Texas Trees and the energy they added to our office.
Monique was brought on to support the marketing and communications department. She was a tremendous help with updating our new website, as well as supporting volunteer events at the TXU Energy Urban Tree Farm and Education Center and developing content for our social media channels!
Annabel worked very closely with Janette Monear, President and CEO, on research and materials for the Southwestern Medical District Urban Streetscape Master Plan project. Even though her time was split between multiple internships and travel, her insightful research really added value to the project's development process.
We wish both of these ladies the best of luck on their next adventures, and hope to see them again at future tree plantings!
