Zaneta Oliver is the Administrative Assistant of the Texas Trees Foundation, a private nonprofit focused on urban forestry, green infrastructure and sustainable design. The Foundation’s strategic approach is based in research driven data to mitigate the environmental challenges and related public health concerns that trees can alleviate.
Ms. Oliver’s duties and responsibilities include providing administrative assistance to the CEO as well as interdepartmental support to ensure efficiency of operations, database administration, communications and integration of resources for high quality services.
Zaneta began her career as an Office Coordinator for a large staffing firm and quickly moved up to a Regional Coordinator transferring her skills of creating streamlined and efficient office policies and procedures. Through her work at the staffing firm she learned of the nonprofit sector and decided to invest her talent in making a true difference in the lives of her community. She served in many administrative, development and operational capacities within the nonprofit sector, and ultimately now the Texas Trees Foundation.
When Zaneta is not working, she is spending time with her husband and son, transforming their three-acre home into a garden. If she is not in the garden, you will find her at an airshow or working in the Children’s Ministry at her church.
