Urban Forestry Manager

Rachel contributes to Urban Tree Canopy (UTC) assessment reports and delivery, Urban Forest Management Plans (UFMP) reports and delivery, Urban Heat Island studies and delivery, Urban Forestry education and awareness, and the delivery of various programs at Texas Trees Foundation promoting the importance of urban forestry and urban forestry best management practices.

Prior to joining Texas Trees Foundation in May 2021, Rachel worked for Texas A&M Forest Service for eight years focusing on oak wilt identification and management, Forest Stewardship Plans, and the importance of forest health and human health.
