Lannie McClelen is project coordinator for the Southwestern Medical Streetscape and Park project with Texas Trees Foundation, a private nonprofit focused on urban forestry, green infrastructure and sustainable design. The Foundation’s strategic approach is based in research driven data to mitigate the environment challenges and related public health concerns that trees can alleviate.

The Southwestern Medical District Streetscape and Park project is a collaborative public-private partnership that represents a bold new vision for a vital part of Dallas. As project coordinator Mrs. McClelen will provide oversight and coordination of the initiative ensuring that goals and objectives are met and ongoing advocacy and outreach efforts with partners and stakeholders are inclusive.

Lannie is a registered landscape architect with an inherent love of the outdoors and public green spaces.

She studied at Texas Tech University and the University of Texas at Arlington receiving an undergraduate and master’s in landscape architecture. Professional experience has led her to work in public, private and nonprofit sectors. Additionally, she taught landscape construction classes as an adjunct professor for the University of Texas at Arlington.

Lannie is married to Chris and they have four wonderful children. On the weekends you might find them entertaining, kayaking, or taking ‘Tucker’ on long walks.
