Dr. Kathy Jack

The Nature Conservancy

Dr. Kathy Jack oversees The Nature Conservancy’s Dallas Healthy Cities program where she works with community partners to shape and implement strategies to protect, enhance, and best use natural systems for the benefit of nature and people. Dr. Jack brings more than twenty years’ experience working at the intersection of environmental technology, conservation, and community health and resilience, with expertise in green infrastructure and renewable energy-emissions science, technology, policy and adoption. Jack has her Bachelor of Arts in Environment and Society from Cornell University, Master of Science in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University and a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from University of North Texas.
