Autumn Owens is the Marketing Manager of the Texas Trees Foundation, a private nonprofit focused on urban forestry, green infrastructure and sustainable design. The Foundation’s strategic approach is based in research driven data to mitigate the environmental challenges and related public health concerns that trees can alleviate.
Ms. Owens aims to visually engage the communities the Foundation supports and enhance the organization’s mission in creating a green legacy for North Texas.
She has eight years of experience as a community journalist/news editor and has won five awards from the North and East Texas Press Association. Autumn’s specialties include writing, photography, videography and community relations.
Autumn graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism and prior to that, received an Associate of Arts degree from Weatherford College. A native Texan, Autumn grew up in Springtown and spent some time living in East Texas as well as Dallas before settling in Weatherford, just west of Fort Worth, in 2013.
Outside of work, Autumn is an avid musician, animal lover, collector of vintage cameras and books, and a volleyball player.
