Alex Rea

Grants Coordinator

Alex started as a Grant Coordinator for Texas Trees Foundation in June 2022. She assists the Chief Development Officer in raising funds for TTF and its various philanthropic programs by researching and writing grant applications. Additionally, she helps to organize and write other supplemental fundraising campaigns and materials. Prior to joining the Texas Trees Foundation’s team, Alex was the Business Manager at The Pitt News and was responsible for all business operations and sales requests. Alex is also a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Professional Writing.
