What is North Texas Giving Day?

North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving event designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about in one easy-to-use platform.

The event helps build awareness and support for nonprofits like nothing else. During North Texas Giving Day, everyone has the opportunity to be a philanthropist to build a stronger and more vibrant community. This year, the 12th annual North Texas Giving Day will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

How can I help the Texas Trees Foundation?

As a nonprofit, your support of the Texas Trees Foundation helps us do more than just plant trees. It helps us serve as a catalyst in creating a new green legacy for North Texas.

The importance of outdoor spaces becomes even more evident in times like these.

That is why the Texas Trees Foundation has always been there to protect and preserve these important outdoor landscapes that are utilized by surrounding communities, including those facing mental and physical hardship, perhaps now more than ever.

We want to remind you that even in these times we are working hard to create more community parks so that green spaces are within a ten minute walking distance from anywhere in Dallas.

We are also continuing to help those that are not only working through today’s challenges but are also still reeling from the October 2019 tornado. In fact, right now we are working with homeowners and community groups to help restore the 3,500 trees lost in the October storm.

Please consider making a donation to the Texas Trees Foundation as a way to recognize the importance outdoor spaces play in everyone’s lives. Thank you for your support as we face these challenges together.
