We were happy to spend a day at our TXU Urban Forest and Education Center at Richland College with more than 80 seventh graders!
Braving through a wintery day and really appreciating the work gloves, the students spent time with us spreading mulch on our trees to help protect against the weather.
Students were excited to dig in and had fun playing on our mulch mountains. We love sharing what we know about trees with students, including the benefits that mulch has on trees and how we can take care of future trees!
