Making the best of a dreary day, it was all hands on the “tree staging area” as AT&T volunteers helped us pull weeds, re-staple staging tarps, assemble drip lines, make tree brace ties, and load shovels into our trailer at the TXU Energy Urban Tree Farm and Education Center.
We were so impressed by the volunteer’s hard work, putting together cable bracing ties for the installation of our new ‘Tree Cable System.’ Thanks go to Groundwork Dallas, who was able to help us install this new system that not only stabilizes our trees but also integrates our drip line so that trees are being watered as needed.
At the end of all their hard work, Texas Trees Foundation Marc Beaudoing Education is a foundation for our organization, and we were more than happy to share with such a great team!
