Re-Leaf From the Storms

Tornado Damage

The storms and tornadoes on April 3 destroyed and damaged thousands of homes across North Texas. While the area was fortunate not to see the loss of human life, the loss of thousands of trees should not be overlooked

TXU Energy, Texas Trees Foundation, and others are partnering to help Re-Leaf those areas hardest hit by the tornadoes. Together, we will help plant new trees across those areas. But we can’t do it alone. We need the help of additional corporate partners and individuals to help with the Re-Leaf efforts.. The loss of the trees comes on the heels of the heat and drought of 2011 that the Texas Forest Service believes will result in the loss of more than 500 million trees.

We would like to thank our Re-Leaf Partners!
