Denton's trees are worth $2.06 billion!

The urban forest of Denton plays a crucial role in the livability and sustainability of the city. ┬áDenton’s 3.5 million trees impact everything from economic development to the overall health of the people that live, work, and play in Denton every day.

During the summer of 2016 Texas Trees Foundation, in partnership with Preservation Tree Services, Plan-It Geo, and Keep Denton Beautiful to conduct a state-of the art urban forestry assessment.

The State of the Denton Urban Forest Report provides detailed information to help Denton advance their understanding of their urban tree population and provides the framework to make more informed decisions about the future management of this important community asset.
