Tree the Town Sponsorship

Sponsorship allows the donor to select a location and provides for 100 small trees or fewer larger trees depending on available space and funding provided.

The City of Richardson selects a planting site and develops a plan that marks tree locations while considering line-of-sight safety issues and underground cables. The Texas Trees Foundation selects the trees to be planted, registers and trains volunteers and coordinates volunteers on planting day and develops a watering plan.

The Texas Forest Service and Texas A&M AgriLIFE Extension provides ongoing expert advice about planting design and maintenance.
