Touchdown for Trees

Touchdown for Trees will recognize the Super Grow XLV projects in the 12 host communities, the tree planting efforts for the new Cowboy stadium and the importance of trees for energy efficiency, clean air and water and the importance of trees as part of a community’s infrastructure. Touchdown for Trees will be at 11:30 a.m. January 24, 2011 at the Sheraton Arlington, and is hosted by the NFL Environmental Program, Texas Forest Service, the North Texas Super Bowl Host Committee and Texas Trees Foundation. All 12 cities will come together to celebrate with representatives from the NFL, Dallas Cowboys, the North Texas Super Bowl Host Committee, Moore Tree Care, and invited guests including national, state and local decision makers, major donors, corporate VIPs, and staff from participating cities. The winners of Oncor’s Know Before You Grow school program poster contest will also be announced at this exciting event.
