Whether you’re planning a backyard dinner with friends or your child’s birthday party, here are some tips for making your next event eco-friendly on a budget!
Send online invitations so you don’t waste paper. Facebook e-invitations and sites like Evite are perfect for getting the word out to your friends and family.
Put out recycling bins so guests can toss their empty cans or bottles in after they’re finished.
Consider serving organic or local food at your event. As the guest list goes up, so does the cost of organic foods, so if your budget doesn’t allow for that you can stick with seasonal food.
