Think twice before throwing away your left-over eggshells, coffee filters and yard trimmings. Instead, create a compost pile out of the materials for an easy way to improve the soil. Even leaving grass clippings on the lawn instead of bagging them is simple and replenishes the nutrients in the soil naturally.
By combining food waste and grass cuttings to create compost, the soil holds more water and allows for better plant growth. It can also save you money on expensive fertilizers because it’s natural and the materials are all at your fingertips!
